The 3rd game of the St. Aug. - Brother Martin series at Barrow Stadium was not a good one for the Crusaders. Chris Cappo and Josh Radovich shared pitching duties. They were able to hold the Purple Knights to 7 hits in the game. The Crusaders did not give up any runs for the first 4 innings, and Chris struck out 3 of the 4 batters he faced in the second. Two runs were scored by St. Aug. in the fifth and the sixth innings. The Crusaders struggled hitting the ball this afternoon. Top hitters with singles were Brad Treuting and Matt Thorne. Although the Crusaders scored 2 in the third, they were unable to get timely hits and fell to the Purple Knights by a score of 4 - 2.
