vs. Central Lafourche

Saturday's woes continued into Sunday for the Crusaders.  Chris Cappo took the mound for Brother Martin.  In the first inning both teams were retired with 0 hits and 0 runs.  In the 2nd inning, Andrew Russo singled, but was left on base.  In the bottom of the inning, Central Lafourche received 2 hits, but was held scoreless.  In the 3rd, Stephen Landry, Josh Radovich, and Chris McIntyre all singled with Chris picking up one RBI.  The Crusaders ended this inning with 3 hits and 1 run.  In the bottom of the third, things once again started to unravel for the Crusaders.  Central Lafourche had 4 runs on 4 hits and 1 Crusader error.

In the top of the 4th, the Crusaders were held scoreless.  In the bottom of the inning the Crusaders allowed 1 run on 2 hits and 0 errors.  In the top of the 5th, the Crusaders were again held scoreless.  In the bottom of the 5th, Central Lafourche scored 3 runs on 2 hits with 3 Crusader errors.  A pitching change was made during the inning, with
Chip Gaillot taking the mound in relief.  In the top of the 6th, BJ Rodrigue homered! and Matt Thorne hit a double.  Brad Treuting had a sacrifice fly to score Matt.  The inning ended with 2 runs on 2 hits.  Chip Gaillot retired Central Lafourche in the bottom of the 6th with 0 runs on 0 hits with 0 Crusader errors.  In the top of the 7th, Thomas Keegan got a single, but the Crusaders were unable to score, dropping this one 8 - 4.
